Regional Co-ordinator

Appointed by the State or National Manager to provide co-ordination, training and support to team leaders and workers in their region.

Be available to provide referral assistance, suicide intervention, advocacy for difficult cases, and secondary consultation on complex issues.

Responsible for promoting DIDDS in the region, recruiting potential workers and team leaders, networking among professionals and representing DIDSS in various regional partnerships and initiatives.

May also lead one group or represent DIDDS in a locality.

Dependent on funding – hopefully a paid position, probably part-time.
